New Councillor Co-opted onto the Parish Council

At the Parish Council Meeting on 8 January 2025, Councillor Neil Forkin was co-opted onto the Parish Council. 

Neil moved to Astley Village in 2016 and since then, has decided to settle permanently in the village due to the quality of life that it has to offer.

Having worked in the property profession for over 30 years, he wanted to use that experience to contribute to improving Village life.  So, when the leaflet came through the door looking for volunteers to be co-opted onto the Council, he took the opportunity.

He is a keen runner, enjoys listening to music and plays classical guitar when time allows!
